Biography - Photo Story

1. The first image depicts myself, along with several family members upon a gathering at the beach. Although difficult to discern, is myself an odd three years prior. The reason I selected an image of this ilk is due to the fact that it portrays myself enjoying one of my more favoured recreational activities. Swimming has been a passion of mine for some time, and is more preeminent among the athletic activities which I practise.

2. The second of these pictures is representative of the importance of animals in my life, as I have always held special favour with dogs. The picture illustrated above is demonstrative of this fact, as both the family dogs: Benson and Hedges, are shown next to me.

3. This next image is one which shows an individual playing badminton, which, following swimming, is a referred recreational activity where athletics are concerned. The significance of this activity is that it oftentimes is useful in relieving stress, and is thus a generally enjoyable sport for which I have a proclivity.

4. The image itself communicates the message rather efficiently, as it is representative of my passion for the sciences, with emphasis upon the field of medicine, as a career. From my formative years have I harboured an innate desire to join the ranks of medical professionals who have preceded me, and in so doing have a career in which I may take pride, as well as to provide a service to my fellow man.

5. This next picture depicts a family gathering in the not-too-distant-past. As with many-an-individual, I hold family in high esteem. Ergo, I saw fit to include an image which would aptly communicate this message. Blood is thicker than water I always say, and for this reason few other bonds transcend that of familial ties.

6. In the sixth image is portrayed myself standing next to my science fair project at the Manitoba Schools Science Symposium. This is indubitably of great significance to me for a plethora of purposes. In essence, my passions lie in the field of science, and as such I enjoy such pursuits as science fair which fall under the broad mantle of science. I regard such activities as potential training for a career in medical sciences.

7. The seventh of these images is representative of my love for music in all its forms, as at the front may be seen myself receiving recognition following the rendering of a solo at the Pembina Trails Honour Band for the academic year 2008/2009. Apart from playing the flute in the concert band, I also enjoy playing other instruments, namely among them: the piano. Music is perhaps my favourite recreational pastime, and as such is something I hold in high regard.

8. The next image of those which I have opted to include in my collage is that of the Final Fantasy X video game, and is intended to depict my wide range of gaming pursuits. As I frequently indulge in the allure of video games, I saw fit to include this as a rather prominent aspect of my recreations.

9. On the note of recreational activity, I have elected to discuss my deep-seated love of fine literature, as is represented by the spines of the first three novels in a favourite title of mine by author "Terry Goodkind".

10. Yet another activity which I enjoy on a virtually daily basis is that of watching television. Displayed is a poster of one of my favourite television series: Supernatural. This particular show is one which scrutinizes the dark side of theology, and is far from religious banter. For this purpose I have come to enjoy it rather immensely, and consequently saw fit to include it in this autobiographical visual display.
